The front pannel should be at the bottom setting (5) to begin.
- Position the bottom part of the cervical collar at the patient’s sternal notch.
- The sides of the collar should be positioned over the trapezius muscles.
- If the chin pad on the collar is too high or too low for the patient, remove the collar completely and use the adjustment slider to size appropriately.
